South Devon College, located in the stunning English Riviera, is one of the leading Further Education Colleges in the country.
Our curricular activities support 4,500 learners across areas such as Automotive and Marine, Engineering, Health & Beauty and Hospitality and Catering. We offer excellent qualifications in English and maths, national and vocational diplomas at differing levels, a huge range of apprenticeships, university degrees, part time adult qualifications and bespoke professional training.
We have a dedicated Higher Education University Centre which delivers our university programmes in partnership with Plymouth University and we also have the South West Energy Centre which is centre for renewable energy and building services.
Our project lead is Natalie Smithson who is the Senior Section Head for Animal Management and Land based studies. Natalie manages tour Marine Biology and Ecology Courses and teaches Biology, she also developed and written a Foundation Degree in Marines Science which was approved by Plymouth University and is now delivered at South Devon College.
Our academic support team includes Dr. Andrea Gaion a Marine Science Lecture and Tutor, Andrew Walker Brown, Programme Coordinator for Marine Biology and Ecology courses and a very experienced teacher of biology.
